Recently there has been a rise in the reports of Mac based malware seen by users.

This threat is called ‘Mac defender’ and usually shows up as a drive by download advising you that you have multiple infections just the PC versions out there.

It attempts to mimic your finder window and display a list of infections, which are all bogus-
